Product and application information

The 30 kW Diesel Heater is a portable industrial unit for temporary or project-based applications where installing a permanent heating system is unnecessary. It supports controlled heating of a project area or selected work zone when cold conditions make site operations more difficult.

Rental or purchase planning should not rely on rated output alone. Space volume, ceiling height, insulation, open doors, air leakage, outdoor temperature, target temperature and daily operating time should be reviewed together to determine unit quantity and placement.

Site conditions and safe operation

Floor area alone is not sufficient when evaluating diesel-heater capacity. Volume, ceiling height, insulation, air change and outdoor temperature should be considered together. Ventilation, combustion-air and exhaust arrangements must be confirmed for the heater configuration and site. The unit should be placed on a stable surface, kept clear of combustible materials and operated according to the manufacturer instructions. Direct-fired diesel units should not be used in occupied enclosed spaces such as mosques, wedding venues, sports halls, schools or event tents. Those spaces require a properly designed indirect/flued unit with exhaust discharged outdoors or a suitable electric solution. In food, feed and agricultural-product areas, the effect of combustion gases or direct hot air on product safety must also be assessed.

High temperature alone does not ensure correct drying. Surface temperature and relative humidity should be monitored, warm air should not be directed at sensitive surfaces, and air movers or dehumidifiers should be incorporated where the project requires them.
