Product and application information

The 60 kW Diesel Heater is specified with 205,000 BTU/h thermal capacity, a 52-litre fuel tank, digital adjustment and an automatic thermostat for temporary applications with higher heating demand. Digital control and the thermostat support management of the operating pattern in larger spaces. The documented fuel consumption of 4–6 L/h varies with ambient conditions, insulation, thermostat setting and operation.

The model should not be treated as a standard solution based on floor area alone. Volume, ceiling height, outdoor conditions, insulation, door openings, air change and target temperature directly affect unit quantity and warm-air distribution.

Site conditions and controlled drying

The unit can support controlled heating during concrete and screed drying. For epoxy, paint and other coating processes, the material manufacturer's temperature and relative-humidity limits must be observed. Warm air should not be directed at sensitive surfaces; substrate moisture, relative humidity and ambient temperature should be measured, with air movement and dehumidification added where required.

Fuel safety, combustible clearance, ventilation, combustion-air and exhaust arrangements should be checked before installation. The 220 V auxiliary supply for the fan and control system must also match the site electrical infrastructure. Direct-fired diesel units must not be used in occupied enclosed spaces such as mosques, wedding venues, sports halls, emergency shelters or large event tents. A properly flued indirect system with exhaust discharged outdoors, or an appropriate electric solution, is required. Standard units are not suitable for solvent-vapour or explosion-classified paint and coating areas.
